The Super Mario: Yoshi Island Original Sound Version is the Compact Disc soundtrack to Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island composed by Koji Kondo. It was released by Nintendo on November 25, 1995 in Japan, and was published by NTT Publishing Co., Ltd. And distributed by Datum Polystar Co., Ltd. Yoshi's Island led to a strong year for Yoshi as a character. IGN's Thomas added that the hand-drawn style of Yoshi's Island made the computer-generated Donkey Kong Country appear outdated, though both games sold well, and Rareware included a Yoshi cameo in their sequel, Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, released that same year.
Make Eggs, Throw Eggs is the first stage Yoshi must pass in the events of Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and its remake, Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3. Since it is the first level of the game, it serves pretty much as a tutorial of Yoshi's abilities and game play in general, in which the players learn how to play the game. For this reason, the level is considerably easy and short, even for the average gamer. Before this stage, Yoshi has to pass a very short level in which the game teaches the player the basics about Baby Mario; to always keep him on Yoshi's back, and to grab him by touching him if anything happens, like touching an enemy. Ba-dum BUM!, the first level in Yoshi's Island DS strongly resembles this level. Yoshis island 2-7. Sep 12, 2009 Yoshi's Island DS, an FAQ/Walkthrough for this game on the DS. World 2-7: Yoshi on Stilts - START: If you need some eggs, head forward and refill at the Egg Block. Backtrack past your starting point to find some trees. Climb up them, egg the Winged Cloud for some coins, then change to Baby DK at the Stork Stop. World 2 in Yoshi's Island DS is a jungle-themed world. The Yoshis meet Baby Donkey Kong and he joins the game. This world has a total of ten levels, like all worlds, eight main levels and two hidden ones. Level info. 2-1 Baby DK, the Jungle King! – The first level in World 2, Baby Peach gets kidnapped by monkeys, and Yoshi teams up with Baby Donkey Kong to save her. Overview[edit]As the level starts, Yoshi finds himself in a field. There is a Message Block, that tells the player how to make eggs. Two Shy-Guys and a Crazee Dayzee are walking a few steps forward, along with a platform with another one. Upon advancing a bit more, there will be a Flower with a Piranha Plant next to it, which Yoshi must jump and dodge. There is a Winged Cloud not far away from it. The player must hit it with an egg, which will make some small platforms appear. After the player climbs up, they can collect several coins, as well as another Flower and some stars. Once the player is back down, they find two Piranha Plants blocking a Warp Pipe. The player must hit them both or just one of them and enter the pipe which leads to a cave. In this underground area, Yoshi has to use a Chomp Rock and collect the coins all over the place. After exiting the Warp Pipe and going forward for a while, there will be a Winged Cloud that if hit will cause a Beanstalk to appear. After climbing it, the player may go left to find a Flower. After that, the player may jump down and fall on the ledge of the platform below for another Winged Cloud, which uncovers the last stars needed for the level. After that, the player must climb the beanstalk again and continue right where they will find the goal roulette. Smiley Flowers[edit]
